Energy Leadership Networking Event, Houston, May 2010
Over 65 North American based senior leaders in energy trading and supply met at Human Capital’s first stateside networking event hosted by Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Houston on May 20, 2010.
Attending organisations included Anadarko, BarCap, BG Group, BNP Paribas, BP, Cargill, Chevron, Citi, ConocoPhillips, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, EDFT, Gavilon, GDF Suez, JPMorgan, Macquarie, Petrobras, Shell, SocGen, and Total Gas and Power.

Over 80 senior leaders in energy trading and supply met at the London offices of Bank of America Merrill Lynch on 8 April 2010 for an evening of informal networking. Attending organisations included Alpiq, BarCap, BP, Chevron, Citi, ConocoPhillips, Crédit Agricole, Credit Suisse, E.On, EDFT, Electrabel, EGL, Essent, Gaselys, GDF Suez, Gunvor, Macquarie, Mercuria, Mitsui, Nexen, Nidera, Noble, RWE, Shell, SocGen, Standard Bank, Statoil and Vitol.
Houston Office expansion
As part of Human Capital’s continued expansion in North America, one of our most experienced Directors, Elliot Pickering, has relocated to Houston. Elliot joined Human Capital in 2003 and his most recent role was leading our European business.
Co-heading the business with Paul Chapman, Elliot will initially focus on the continued build-out of our North American Power offering. He will be replaced in Europe by Tom Edenborough.
Coupled with new additions to the Research and Operations team, this marks an important stage in the growth of Human Capital’s North American offering.
